Welcome to Chattahoochee
First United Methodist Church.
Who We Are?
We are a faith community called to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of our community.
Our vision is to be a beacon of hope and love in Chattahoochee, where all people can encounter the transformative grace of Jesus Christ, grow in faith, and serve our community with compassion and joy.
As a diverse body of believers, we hold many personal values that we hope will bring us into better likeness of Christ, but as a unified church, we hold these values in common:
Faithfulness
We commit to deepening our relationship with God through worship, prayer, and study, trusting in His guidance and grace in all aspects of life.
Community
We believe in fostering a strong, inclusive church family where everyone is welcomed, valued, and encouraged to build meaningful relationships and support one another.
Service
Following the example
of Christ, we dedicate ourselves to serving others in our local and global communities, promoting justice, peace, and compassion.
Spiritual Growth
We encourage continual spiritual development, equipping individuals of all ages with the tools and opportunities to grow in their faith journey through discipleship, education, and active participation in church life.

What We Believe.
As part of the United Methodist Church, members of Chattahoochee First hold a diverse array of beliefs about how our faith impacts our daily lives, all while grounding ourselves in the Wesleyan Way of practicing Christianity. While we differ on some specifics of the Christian faith, we hold to these doctrinal beliefs:
God
We believe in one God, who exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is the creator of the universe and is actively involved in the world and our lives.
